Who Zoho is looking for:
As an inbound sales role, one must be highly comfortable converting prospects over the phone and via well-composed emails. AEs must be able to proactively manage their pipeline though clear communication, proactive time-management, and diligent utilization of our CRM. Expertise in business software is a major benefit, though any experienced and passionate sales person can be successful if they are willing to put in the effort to learn the technology.
We are looking for hardcore sales people who truly know how to sell. Do you understand the concept of a "sales pipeline" and "sales cycles"? Can you sniff out a sales opportunity during a casual conversation? Do you have the determination and resilience to navigate an organization, convince their stakeholders, and ask for the sale? Then this is the role for you.
We believe a great sales person should take ownership of every sales engagement—connecting with prospects, learning about their pain points, addressing their fears, and articulating the value of our products. You should get a rush of satisfaction from every closed deal and fight hard to beat target—month after month—not because your manager tells you to, but because you have a natural drive to be the best.
This requires both passion for the hunt and stamina to hit the metaphorical pavement day after day. If that kind of goal-oriented, high-energy, fast-paced role doesn't resonate with you, then this won't be a good fit. It is important to note that this is an in-office position, not remote or hybrid. Our New Braunfels office is 255 Saengerhalle Road, New Braunfels, TX 78130.
Responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):
  • Completing 40-50 calls per day
  • Qualifying leads
  • Updating CRM daily on all interactions with prospects
  • Maintaining a clean, healthy pipeline
  • Collaborating with technical teams on solution building for prospects
  • Learning multiple software products inside and out
Qualifications:
  • 3+ years of professional experience in SaaS experience or related industries (IT, professional services, consulting) are preferred, demonstrating a track record of achieving goals and maintaining high performance standards
  • Strong understanding of sales strategies, market trends, and the ability to manage and grow client relationships effectively
  • Prefer experience with SMB customers rather than strict enterprise background.
  • Strong soft skills: ability to communicate clearly, handle full sales cycle components, and speak to business processes.
  • Experience in net-new sales (no account management ownership for this role).
  • Ability to manage varied lead sources and qualify appropriately.
  • Comfort working segmented by sub-region and product (primarily CRM), with flexibility to sell across Zoho products and involve other teams for larger bundles (e.g., Zoho One).
  • Willingness to work five days per week in-office with zero travel, occasional on-site visits possible but not required
Compensation/Benefits:
Base salary of $60-70k, plus performance-based variable compensation. Zoho provides medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as employer-matching 401k and other benefits.
