The Senior Data Analytics Engineer is responsible for establishing standards, developing proof-of-concept solutions, and ensuring adherence to best practices for both individual and team projects. This role involves designing, coding, testing, documenting, and maintaining the Cloud Data Warehouse, Azure Data Lake, Machine Learning, and Artificial Intelligence applications to meet business needs. Additionally, the role requires gathering reporting requirements and developing Cloud Data Warehouse applications in alignment with business requirements and enterprise standards.

Key Objectives:

  • Design proposals and oversee the efficient development, testing, and deployment of components within the Cloud Data Warehouse (CDW).
  • Maintain working knowledge of systems related to the CDW, including SAP, SQL Server, Extract Transform & Load (ETL) tools, and other integrated platforms.
  • Develop and propose CDW architecture while establishing integration points and connections to source systems.
  • Contribute to proof-of-concept initiatives, document solutions, and train team members on best practices for software integration with the CDW.
  • Support and manage day-to-day CDW operations, including scheduling, monitoring, troubleshooting, and data transformation and modeling using established toolsets.
  • Implement reporting solutions using Tableau, Power BI, or similar reporting tools.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve data issues within the CDW while collaborating with the extraction team to address source system problems.
  • Collaborate with the data science team to develop applications based on requirements, leveraging Python or other analytics scripting languages.
  • Maintain and support software toolsets for analytics activities, including modeling tools, ETL tools, and data science platforms.
  • Lead the migration of legacy systems to modern target architectures.
  • Perform statistical analysis, optimize performance, and ensure efficient code development.

Education and/or Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
  • 6 years of data analytics, programming, database administration, data management, training, or related experience is preferred.
  • Consideration is given to relevant experience and related certification.

USD $120,000.00/Hr.
Maximum Pay Rate

USD $150,000.00/Hr.
