The Cloud Systems Administrator role is to administer, support, document, and maintain the Cloud Data Warehouse, Azure DevOps, Azure Resources (such as Data Lake, storage, and connectivity), Power BI, Microsoft Fabric, Tableau, and any other cloud applications in the environment.

Essential Job Functions
- Administer and optimize the Cloud Data Warehouse (CDW), including connectivity, sizing, performance tuning, add-ons, security roles, and overall platform health.
- Operate and support daily CDW processes, including job scheduling, monitoring, incident response, and troubleshooting.
- Manage enterprise data visualization platforms, including Tableau, Power BI, and related reporting tools.
- Configure and govern Microsoft Fabric environments, including capacities, workspaces, and tenant-level settings for performance, security, and compliance.
- Support data engineering and extraction teams by troubleshooting data, performance, and source system integration issues.
- Maintain Azure DevOps pipelines and environments, promoting code changes reliably across environments.
- Ensure secure connectivity and performance across Azure resources, including network configuration, monitoring, and optimization.
- Monitor and control cloud resource performance and costs, supporting data science tooling (e.g., Azure ML/MLOps) while adhering to enterprise standards and collaborating with IT stakeholders.
Education and/or Experience
- High School Diploma or GED is required.
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years related work experience and/or training.
- Additional Microsoft, cloud, security, or data platform certifications preferred.
- Consideration is given to relevant practical experience and related certification.
- A valid driver’s license may be required, along with a driving record that meets the requirements of the company’s insurance provider.
