Job Summary
Assumes responsibility for all aspects of facility management for hospital and physical plant, including repairs to facility and equipment. In addition, ensures that hospital meets compliance with all regulatory agencies. Completes established competencies for the position within designated introductory period. Other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
MINIMUM EDUCATION:
Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university in related field, or Associate's Degree with 5 years of healthcare engineering management experience, or equivalent work experience in lieu of education.
PREFERRED EDUCATION: Master's Degree
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE: 7 years in healthcare field.
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE: 10 years of supervisory or management experience in hospital of over 200 beds or similar experience. CMS, JCAHO and Life Safety Code experience. Knowledge of State Hospital licensing standards. Oversee and achieve hospital EOC, Safety and Utility initiatives.
REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSURE: NA
PREFERRED CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSURE: PE (Registered Professional Engineer) or CHFM (Professional
Certified Healthcare Facility Manager)
