Position Summary
The Sterile Processing Technician is responsible for task-based Sterile Processing activities to include decontamination, assembly, and sterilization of surgical instrumentation. Assembly and delivery of surgical and interventional procedure case carts; paring and replenishment of materials and working in collaboration with surgical partners to provide accurate and complete surgical instrumentation and needed supplies. Completes established competencies for the position within designated introductory period. Other related duties as assigned.

MINIMUM EDUCATION: High School Graduate or equivalent

MINIMUM EXPERIENCE: 1 year in sterile processing required.

REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSURE: Credentialed as a Certified Sterile Processing Technician
(IAHCSMM or CBSPD Certified)
